Ok People This song is about a girl who has borderline personality disorder and how this guy that loves her cant deal with her mood swings. It's perfect if you knew anything about psychology.... and the lyrics are wrong too..... it says "coalesce.......coalesce" instead of "over this, over this" coalesce means to pull yourself together and quit fighting with yourself..... you people have a lot of living to do |

oh it just irks me when people post "corrected" versions of lyrics and they arent correct either! here is the freakin song people, and yes its about a coke head who he is infactuated with at first, but then he realizes that its all she is, a coke head and he has had enough of it. I like your pants around your feet And I like the dirt that's on your knees And I like the way you still say please While you're looking up at me You're like my favorite damn disease And I love the places that we go I love the people that you know And I love the way you can't say no Too many long lines in a row I love the powder on your nose And now I know who you are It wasn't that hard Just to figure you out Now I did You wonder why And now I know who you are It wasn't that hard Just to figure you out Now I did You wonder why I like the freckles on your chest And I like the way you like me best And I like the way you're not impressed While you put me to the test I like the white stains on your dress And I love the way you pass the check And I love the good times that you wreck I love your lack of self-respect While you're passed out on the deck I love my hands around your neck And now I know who you are It wasn't that hard Just to figure you out Now I did You wonder why And now I know who you are It wasn't that hard Just to figure you out Now I did You wonder why Get off the floor Give it a try Gone for good and this is it I like your pants around your feet And I like the dirt that's on your knees And I like the way you still say please While you're looking up at me You're like my favorite damn disease I hate the places that we go And I hate the people that you know And I hate the way you can't say no Too many long lines in a row I hate the powder on your nose And now I know who you are It wasn't that hard Just to figure you out Now I did You wonder why And now I know who you are It wasn't that hard Just to figure you out Now I did You wonder why Get off the floor Give it a try Gone for good And this is it |

| yes, "Falling from grace" this song's title does have a double meaning. I do think that one of those meanings is what those of us who do not know a murder is the term for several crows, a murder of a soul, of sorts....i do feel this is about an abusive situation that this girl is stuck in and the singer is trying to convince her to leave. BUT, the second meaning is just that, "A Murder of One".....kinda like the saying, "An army of one"? ....it means she has closed herself off into this world and is fighting the outside , alone. She is all she's got. and she could change that if she would open up her mind and see that not everyone is out to hurt her, as the significant other is doing :) just my thoughts... | |
