This just came to me out of nowhere, this song is about having sex with groupies. Here's a few things to support this opinion: "I mean that loving you is strange and adored by me throughout, oh no its you again" He loves having sex with groupies, but he feels akward afterwards and doesn't want to see them again "someday soon you'll find that someone waiting for the chance to meet you drooling on the set to feel you, blessing you with every kiss" A groupie is one who will as Jay puts it "drool on the set" for the chance to meet you. "tying yourself to me stitch up my emptiness 'cause you're the death of me so precious; loving the thrill" Here he is saying that having sex with groupies is filling the void in his life, hence "stitch up my emptiness" he is also saying that they are a thrill. However they are also the death of him inside. "such the patient one who needs me the spoiled one who wins so shocking where's your sense don't you know i hate you so unsatisfied, you little girl" The groupies are patient to be with him, and the one he chooses for the night would be "the spoiled one that wins" But after he has sex with her, he does not want to see her so he hates her, and she is unsatisfied because she wants more "rolling dice and seeming queer bastard love a sick affair" Taking a chance and seeming strange with having sex out of wedlock, which to Jay is not right, hence "bastard love, a sick affair" "let's see what new disease you'll fetch" Groupies have sex with many bands, so it is very likely for them to have STD's. |
