could the song possibly be about a megalomaniac?!?! no! o wait yeah it is! freakin a man you don't have to read that much in to this song. it is about all people! everyone is egotistic now and days. just a taste of power and people abuse it. the song is about everyone needing to get off our high horse because were all equal. |

I feel that this song is about a loss in someone’s life. The first section talks about forgetting. The second part is talking to the person saying I’m not coming back you need to let go. The third is symbolizing the slow path to forgetting. The forth is reinforcing the thought. The fifth stanza is the crow in life that takes a way the spirit to its final resting place. And the final part is saying thanks for letting me go. I feel this song is about human beings having a hard time letting go of that loss. |
