I really like this song and i agree that it could be about sheating, but it doesnt necessarily have to be just that the guy was lying to her and im thinking maybe using her in some way and thenhe dumped her, but now shes finally ready to move on and he comes crawling back. I really love the line "theres no light at the end of the tunnel tonight, just a bridge that i gotta burn" its kind of like saying either way she wont be incredibly happy, there wont be any light, but she has to get away from this guy and eventually she will be good. |

It's actually "nestled in your calculated moonshine" moonshine meaning like nonsense or bullshit I like how mulizah described the part "look up, look where you wanna be..." and how they said that it reverses like first she was left but now shes up because she doesnt need the guy anymore... I think this song was about someone using her and that someone being a fake person. They made veryone believe they were a certain person by saying/doing certain things but thats not really who they were and they used her to get where they wanted or whatever but it didnt end up working because shes the one that finally saw through all the bullshit |

I definitely agree with the ppl who said it was about her parent's divorce...it obviously has something to do with her parents...if it was a boyfriend she wouldnt have to "fake a smile...everyday of her life" because she wouldnt see the boyfriend everyday if the relationship was over or hear him cry EVERY night in his sleep it also says she was "so young you should have known better than to lean on me" so its definitely her mom depending on her too much, burdening her with pain she wasnt supposed to know about or have to worry about |

| I think this song is about being in an abusive relationship and not being able to get out, it's like you wanna leave, cuz you now it's bad for you, but you just can't (still can't find waht keeps me here) And even if u leave the relationship, the other person keeps coming back, like they're haunting you. | |
