You're not as "old school" as you think. There's probably some super indie guy who listened to Modest Mouse when you were still listening to Alanis just around the corner laughing at you, and somebody's probably laughing at him too. Get over it, you guys are being a bunch of little girls. And furthermore, how do you know that "people" only like the music because it's "in." Did you take a poll? Or is it more like a generalization? I'm guessing it's the latter.
You guys ought to stop bitching and moaning, about all of Modest Mouses new fans (or, rather, "fans," right?) because it really isn't that big of a deal. Maybe you should start your own band and only play really quietly in your garage and hide the tapes and music in your closet so you can keep them secret, since your all so worried about somebody new liking bands you like.
