| Echo and the Bunnymen – The Killing Moon Lyrics

In the liner notes for the 2003 reissue of the 1984 Bunnymen album 'Ocean Rain' Ian (lead singer, just to let all you Bunnymen non-fans know) clearly states that "disguised within the veil of a love song is a song about pre-destiny." He also says "The chorus is key; it's about God rather than a woman..." That should clear things up. |

doesn't surpass the original Clash version, but then few songs do exceed the quality of the original. Anyhow, this is worth hearing by any Clash or Third Eye Blind fan; it's such a great cover song. |

| Starsailor – Silence is Easy Lyrics

The only one of Phil Spector-produced songs by Starsailor that is apparently produced by him upon first listen. If only everything could go through such good production, but then this wouldn't sound so good compared to almost, well, everything else. |

Every Starsailor song is a classic and deserves to be heard, but THIS- this just reaffirms my faith in the band's greatness. You can't choose a Starsailor that is their best because they all are in a way. But this song may just be among their top 10 best songs. (I know they don't have but about twice that amount, but hey, who's counting?) |

| Starsailor – Tie Up My Hands Lyrics

after hearing "poor misguided fool" and "Good Souls," i could not help but seek out the CD from which these songs came. Upon first listen i was greeted by this, the first track on LOVE IS HERE. it is undoubtedly one of my favorite songs ever. everyone i know who hears "Tie Up My Hands" absolutely is left nearly speechless but very much in love with the song and it's deep meaning. Starsailor's songs in general are very emotionally and lyrically deep, plus James Walsh has such a great voice. i was very mesmerized by this song when first listening to it and i think Starsailor are the next Beatles. Almost all their songs are as good as anything the Beatles have ever done and two songs are their new album are produced by Phil Spector (who produced the Beatles LET IT BE). |
