oh and coke makes your lips numb 'cause the leftover cocaine on the mirror that you just kissed got on your lips. anyone who doesn't think this is about coke is crazy. i doubt that gym class is addicted to it though, if they were, they wouldn't put out a song about it like this. |

this song is definitely about cocaine. a street name for coke is "the white girl", as the way "white boys" are another name for marijuana joints. COCAINE IS KNOWN AS THE RICH MAN'S DRUG. it's rediculously expensive and if you can afford it; you're lucky. THAT'S WHY THEY REFER TO IT AS "GLAMOUROUS"; because it is. when he sings about "bringing out the razor", he's talking about the razor you use to cut up the cocaine; you can't just snort little pebbles of it. "break down my line" is a term used for distributing the lines of the coke once it's been cut. right after he says this in the song, there is a very distinctive *sniff* following a snap. "clean up your nose" IS DEFINITELY about cocaine,"kissing the mirror" makes it even obvious because mirrors are what you snort coke off. i've known a lot of people to kiss the mirror after doing their lines for good luck. |

| AFI – The Leaving Song Lyrics | 21 years ago |

i love afi, and even tho this is by-far their most... "emo" song, i still think its really good. the beginning verse makes me think that this song is about leaving a group of friends, possibly maybe a band or even a family, because they believe you have changed for the worse or done something that just cannot be forgiven. although you disagree, you self-righteously leave. no questions asked. the "hard to notice" verse sort-of implies to me that the 'group' has thought this for a while now, but you dont realize this until it is too late, and all you can do now is dwell on everything you deem worth regretting. |

| Dashboard Confessional – The Swiss Army Romance Lyrics | 21 years ago |

ok this is the real meaning of the song title: "the swiss army romance" is a metaphor. it was intentionally titled that by dashboard confessional's lead singer and lyricist chris carrabba. it is supposed to mean "the fake romance". sweden during WWII was neutral, it didnt have an army at all. this is a widely known fact. chris named his debut album this because, supposedly, an ex-girlfriend of his lead him on to believe their relationship meant more than it really did, or at least more than it did to her. |
