Put it all this way. A.T.D.I hated the goverment in EL PASO, TX they hated everything out of that town most of their songs are based on El Paso, they love that place with all their hearts and they will never forget where they came from. But they all lived it up and got out of there, and with their lives they made el paso something. they made it into music, and really good music not to mention actually amazing music. Well ATDI shall live in all our hearts. They Music shinned out of el paso. And it still shimmers pretty darn bright.- YEAH ATDI FOREVER!!! |

This is a very amazing song, yes i suppose this song carries cedrics and omars voice in it so doesnt matter who sang it. I continue on thinking about this song. "Sucks me in taking a ride" sounds to me that his life has barely begun and already he is taking a journy into something he might have not wanted to happen.. Besides analysing the song.. This song is awesome when your out looking at the sky at night and stars and the moon are out.. It totally fits. Man, i wish they didnt break up =( but hey they left us with other great bands.... |

Well first of all to those who suppose ably know ATDI if you guys would have kept up with them Cedric and Omar didnt like being put on the EMO genre... Actually they laughed at Jim in a interview when he said that they where "emo".. Cedric just started to laugh and actually made a funny comment on Jim for saying they were emo... AS for that i think the only emo they had was all before ROC.... Actually they said that was one of the worst cd they have ever made and actually hated the making of it.... But i have to admit that cd is very awesome.. You can't get tire of it... As for Sparta i guess Jim went towards his emo way.... Sparta Rules but i have to say TMV wins sparta in guitar wise and well pretty much everything... As for TMV. Sparta. Defacto. At The Drive-In wins them all... In/Casino/Out rules as much as Relationship of Command... |

This song is so awesome i dont find it scary one bit actually i find it really awesome. EVerytime me and my friends sneek out at night and drive off out to no where and just have a great view of the moon and the stars between the moutains and we always play this song. It's so great it just has this one mood and it just makes you have a big flash in your face kind of thing... THis is my all time favorite radiohead song. Because we all feel like run aways in the night but by the morning we are all safe at home. This song sounds like no other that i have heard. THats why its so great!!!!! |

This song is totally about the el paso situation and i think this also has to do with pauls mother death. Well, im not sure about that but i think it does. Who knows, ATDI rules and sadly to say i don't think there will ever be a band such as ATDI that can reach there kind of energetic style and cedrics voice and omar guitar playing. The bands members were totally awesome.. |

I could totally say everything that has been commented has a piece of the song meaning. ATDI just is so awesome. They never want to give you the straight out meaning of there songs because they really want those who are true fans to go out there and search for the really meaning or they wanted you to make your own meaning of the song. Thats so great of them. Thats why they were so awesome. AS for bands of today thats why they are so cheesy and boring not to mention that they suck. I agree with those who mentioned the thoery of homesickness. El Paso was there home town and all but one armed scissors totally goes with homesickness cedric omar tony paul jim really arent the type of hurting themselfs. They already had enough friends who died on them by suicide. Those who are ATDI fans would totally understand that. Acrobatic tenement. Conor means so much things in his music and he does us all a favor and puts everything that we can possibly feel in songs which makes bright eyes great. As for drunk kids and catholics.
