Razorlight – In The City Lyrics 21 years ago
definitly a great song.... their whole album is aswome...

but this song really reminds me of the rythm of a drunken night.... The social ackwardness of soberarity and slowly building up... then after the mixing up drinks line it starts to pick up and pump up.

aparently i have been missing out on this bukowski character... he's mentioned here... and there is a track off the new modest mouse CD dedicated to him..

Razorlight – Rock 'N' Roll Lies Lyrics 21 years ago
Definitly an epic of a song, and a great album. Can't wait to pick up a copy, north american release 0ct 26. Though it interesting how the LPs and singles prior to album release have changes to the songs. This band is actually progressively improving their music with each new release. Actually the LP of this song is extremely different, a different sound with the fundemental lyrics being the same. Its hard to tell which one is better.

Randy Newman – Short People Lyrics 21 years ago
Yea, Newman isn't really an asshole, or at least that doesn't come out in his songs. Its almost a satirical look at judgements which i doubt many "short people" could hold against him because of his level of exaduration. Not only in this song, but in almost of his songs

Firstly, didn't know that this place exsisted till 3 days ago.
Second, the song is crap with horrible lyrics
Three, the band is great live, i have been to their show before.
Four, I used this site to express my love for other music, however i won't hesitate to express myself on crap like this. Expecially when people are (were) the divine lyrics.

If you are looking a for a stronger song then this, you will find yourself hard pressed. Its levels of interpretation are unfathomable, and you have to stand in awe of these amazing song writer.

personally i saw this song as a testiment to the strength of individuals and how with the proper convictions life can yeild heros. This is a the true test of the individual, as being a "black sheep of the angels".

Randy Newman – Political Science Lyrics 21 years ago
Honestly i love Randy Newman's political songs, but of the ironic twist of his sound.

Mostly Harmless is actually the best way to describe it, the lyrics have such strength, but the playful sound is just fun. Another great is the song call "rednecks", just don't sing it out loud cause you'll be lyntched.

Yellowcard – Rough Draft Lyrics 21 years ago
obviously darwinism hasn't thinned enough out.

This song it terrible with lyrics that are as deep as a rain puddle. I guarantee that within the year you will listen to this song and realize the crap that it really is. Its overdramatized the concept of love and soaks it with an overwelleming stench of hormones.

Although their ability to play music is completely different. They are skilled musicians that should evolve their sound, but they should leave all their emo "I feel the angest of the world" fans behind and try to create something with a significant meaning.

Adam Ant – Dog Eat Dog Lyrics 21 years ago
Definitly an ironic view of modern culture. It is an amazing song and takes a satirical role of the comedic "dog". Basically a person who acts like a hound dog and head out to the clubs all slicked up.
