I think this song is about drugs. Peer pressure (from the bad, bad lobsters) and real friends, etc. About not doing that crap and just having fun.
Or maybe the Aquabats are just crazy. Either way, this song rocks. |

I'm going to have to side with monkeyman, though. Although foremost, they are silly, fun songs. Sometimes, however, it's fun to try to find (or, frankly, make up) those deeper meanings. Maybe this song is about a young boy, who's asleep and dreaming, about sailing the high sees with Captian Hampton, fighting those evil midget pirates for the good of humanity... Mmm? |
