It reminds me a lot of the book The Awakening by Kate Chopin. At the end of the book the main character walks into the sea and commits suicide for freedom from her husband and children. It's a lot like this because it doesn't seem like a cowerdly surrender but more like she is liberated by this action. Just like how the song says "and it felt just like falling in love again." |

I absolutely love this song. I can really relate when he says "you were the one but I can't spit it out when the date's been set" because one of my ex's is getting married and I never really had closure with him but it's too late now. Listening to this does make me want to show up at the wedding just to see the look on his face... |

Yeah this song reminds me of when I moved to college too. Especially the lines "I think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your windows view will give a new perspective." He is absolutely correct when he says that. |
