| My dad passed away today 23 years ago when he was 26. I was born in 1987 so I did not know my father at all obviously but a friend at work told me about this song and when I read the lyrics I couldn't help but think of him, and if he could say things to me on days that I miss him the most these are the kinds of things he'd say to me. I find a lot of comfort in these lyrics even if I know my dad would not have been a Beyonce fan haha. We would have had our classic rock love to share instead :) | |

I wish I was a radio song, the one that you turned up I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish I guess it never stops... I'm surprised no one's commented on this part. I know when I'm driving in my car, and I turn a song up that makes me think of someone... I'm there driving fully into that song. I can always just go for a drive, and think of that someone by turning my songs to that person on full blast. Amazing song, by an amazing band... You can't expect anything less from these guys |
