Oh, lord, the line "I took the lights and radio towers out of my dreams" hits me hard. It reminds me of having hopes and dreams, but eventually they all get ruined, so you train yourself to take out the hope and stop broadcasting them. You won't get let down anymore. |

My mom and dad would play this to me so many times. I think the line "And to fight for a cause they've long ago forgotten" is interesting, because during the Vietnam war, many soldiers would wonder why they were there. :D I loooove this song. |

| I love this song. For some reason, it gives me the vision of the aftermath of a war, and a few men are lost/stuck in some area and are trying to find their way back. The peaceful nature of the verses are when they're alone and when the chorus comes along, they're being attacked. :3 Just my take on it. | |
