This song is one of my favorite SP songs, and it also makes me very sad when i listen to it. My brother is mentally handicapped, and i always felt when B.C. was singing this song he was talking about not knowing if he could take on the response abillity of taking care of his brother. I know when my mother and father pass on he is in my hands or he ends up in a nursing home(or as i like to call the decorated prisons). And i know that my brother doesnt deserve that. So its my burden to not let him go thier. I think when B.C. says i wont to go home he means i wont to go back to the life were i didnt have to worry about this mess at all. I also think space boy may mean his brother was into space stuff, like my brother is into star trek and star wars. And when he says space boy i've missed you spinning around my head he means that he as really thought about how specail his brother is to him. And when he says space boy they'll kill me before i'm dead and gone i wonder to myself is he talking about those over wellming thoughts about if he can carry this burden on his shoulders. And in the end we wont belong because his brother interfears with his own life and dreams, can he tackle the response abillty. Well thats what the song means to me. I hope helped some one understand this song a little more. |
