ah. so i'm missing this bit about the character The Game. i was confused that people were associating this to some ethereal notion of 'the game', as in the dope game, the pimp game, etc. Sympathy for the Devil set the bar for this type of song, and Lupe is the only one i've heard that has taken the mantle. |

this song is about 'the game' in as much as 'the game' is a manifestation of the devil. "The gunshots in the class and you can't pass if you're missin, G. "The Cool", is the album. 'the cool' is the tragedy of making the ignorant, the criminal, etc. ... "cool" in today's society. "These fools are my fuel So I make them Cool" the devil makes those fools that follow his game 'cool'. because it brings more into his 'game'. those who think misogyny, drugs, and decadence are the height of cool are lured into the devil's trap. |

There's several mistakes in the lyrics above. 1. the last time i felt 'as sick' and contradictive as this 2. just a ghost 'trying to get some miss pac-man 3. hello ma'am would you be 'interested' 4. moves off of instinct and 'sex' 5. eat, sleep, fuck 'and' self-defense 6. that's why 'i'm' kmilling em 7. like you know what the 'plot' is great song. 'hello ma'am, would you be interested in some sexual positions and emotional investments.' has to be one of the great pick-up lines of all time. |
