But I don't understand why it matters so much to you. Respect other people's opinions. An opinion is just that, an opinion, it's not a fact. I look at all the comments on the Cock Sparrer section and none of the GC fans are there saying that it sucks. But I come to the GC section and all these Cock Sparrer (or w/e your into) say that GC sucks and they aren't punk. The meaning of punk, to me, is the quote I have at the top of my post. To get an idea why these people say GC isn't punk, go download some of these songs. Expoilted - Hate You Damned - Smash It Up Adicts - Numbers Agnostic Front - Gotta Go Bad Religion - American Jesus Casualties - Die Hards Cock Sparrer - Take Em All Dead Kennedys - Holiday In Cambodia Listen to some these bands to understand why GC isn't punk to some people. I don't like to label things, but it comes second nature. When I think of a punk band, GC doesn't come to mind. But I do like some of their songs. They were much better before MTV exploited them. |
