i think you've got the right idea. It just seems to be slating the way postmodernism sucks conviction and honest emotion from art. So much meaningless crap is made in the name of post-modernism just for the sake of it. I like it, it makes you feel good about music that is made from the honest passion of the artisit rather than somebody desperately trying to reinvent or be original just to make the cover of NME... |

Yeah these lyrics are a bit wrong. Love it still. guk songwriting's gotten really refined, love the way he turs the table in the last couple lines "Someday I'll be free, you'll wait for me, for hours" genius... |

erm creed are crap. The fact is your typical hip-hop values dont exactly go hand in hand with conservative christian beliefs. They hardly have the same audiences and judging from the responses here it ain't that he's specifically talking about Jesus that people like but more his balls and passion for releasing it into the mainstream hip-hop scene filled with 50 cents and all the other PIMPS.... |

yeah i always figured the third planet was a metaphor for a baby but the death idea makes a lot more of the lyrics make sense. Think about the blood/Atlantic comparisons and the idea that planets represent people suddenly makes all kinds of sense!!! magic... |

It's a stunning song but i can't see it optimistically. The lines 'i'm not half what i wish i was, i'm so angry,
i don't think it'll ever pass' are brutally honest but there's real despair in those words. |
