| Wow... I'm sorry but that's just wrong, "i think that it shows people turning to jesus when u have problems but its useless when u need an answer then and there to save u." That's totally wrong man, Jesus has already saved you! | |

| This song's also done on the punisher album featuring Evanescence's Amy Lee, and I think that version's a hundred times better! The two singers play off each other's voices very well, beautifully written, and beautifully sung ^_^ | |

I disagree, I think this song is about a relationship with Christ, when you fall back into the world's mentality and the like. Certain parts of the song (I fall before you; I fall into your abounding grace; I'll never stray again) wouldn't be commonly said in a simple boyfriend girlfriend relationship, but make perfect sence when talking about a relationship with Christ. This song, of course, wasn't put on Fallen, and was done before the band cut all ties with Christianity... seems as though Amy needs to hear this song again. (one of two songs openly Christian, the other being "lies") |

Personally.. I really enjoy listening 2 SOAD, but I see them as hypocrites most of the time. A lot of you people are saying "Duh, it's not supporting christianity! You're idiots for thinking that!" but didn't Serj himself say that you can interpret his lyrics anyway you want? Now, I know they totally slam christianity in a lot of thier songs (suite-pee, chop suey) and I believe that they're against it 100%, I just think it's funny that you guys are calling each other idiots for doing exactly what Serj said (interpreting the lyrics however you want to). Also... in "the prison song" they say "I but my crack, my smack, my bitch right here in hollywood" mocking America saying that in Hollywood you can get anyway with anything... but in the song "drugs" they're specifically saying they're on drugs (them now being "super-stars" and crap). Seems a bit hypocritical, don't ya think? |

I think these are the lyrics... I was listening to the song when I wrote it, so I'm not 100% sure. Feel free to correct it if it's wrong. |

Probly not what it's supposed to mean.. but to me it sounds like he's talking about a relationship that kinda fizzles out, and you meet someone else and you're not sure what to do? Or maybe that's just what I was going through when I heard this song... hmmm... |

I think this song is pretty straight-forward, its talking about God's love, and what it does in your life. The chorus: "I thought about fire in the sky" I think that's saying that he knows that God's up there, and He's looking down, and that He loves us, the verses are saying how your love for God will destory your life if you totally cosumed by Him, but what I beautiful thing it is! |
