A brothel and/or just a simple one-night stand, and the disgust, anguish and guilt that often comes with it.
Obviously, many of his songs are not abut Conor himself. I think they come out of a great sense of empathy, the reflections that he makes and so on. No one can so eloquently put to words what everybody feel at certain times. |
