Especially the line(s) "Dad was told by mother You can't have one without the other" |

| Modest Mouse – Float On Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| This song is abberantly optimistic, and I just knew it would be the first radio/promo-ready tune of theirs. | |
| Electric Six – She's White Lyrics | 22 years ago |
|
I always took it as: "I was born a prisoner inyour dungeon of flesh...." ------------------------------------------------------------ "But I broke those shackles I bent those bars...." ------------------------------------------------------------ "I (it didnt sound quite like "bent") those bars You returned my fire and shot me in the heart...." ------------------------------------------------------------ "And your love was the rhythm, elevating me higher...." ------------------------------------------------------------ ;-) |

| Electric Six – Getting Into The Jam Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| The first time I listened to this CD, "Nuclear War (On the Dance Floor)," "Getting into the Jam," and "Vengeance and Fashion" passed by in a row and I had no idea the songs changed. It struck me as sort of a Hillage send-up, if anyone knows who I'm refering to. | |
| Electric Six – Gay Bar Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I kind of thought the song kicked off with "Girl!" | |
| Electric Six – Naked Pictures (Of Your Mother) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure it's "I make lots of money" and I do believe it was "I might like you better if we fought together," not only because the F-Bomb could create a problem, but moreso because it appears in "I'm the Bomb," and featuring that word elsewhere diminishes the effect it has in "I'm the Bomb." | |
| Electric Six – Dance Commander Lyrics | 22 years ago |
|
"Who gives the orders here?" I didn't really interpret that as a question per se, due to "You now that I'm the only one...." |
