wow, all you people are so uneducated in ska history, As a modern rude boy, let me enlighten you...In the 60's alot of ska artists werent supportive of rude boys, alot of them looked down on them, because of there criminal nature. this song is just about how the rude boys need to calm down because theyre going to wind up in jail. and this song IS NOT the "RUDE BOY ANTHEM" whoever it was that said that should be shot. this is a 2-tone song , If there even WAS a ANTHEM for rude boys it would of been somethine more Traditional.
Because 2 tone music in essence was not entirely ska, it was merley a genre with heavy ska roots. |
