These guys are awesome and are amazing live. The only problems I have with them are that Omar makes too much noise on the guitar for way too long. Also, Cedric needs to learn to work woth the crowd better; you know, make them feel like he's there for THEM. All he does is bitch. |

THe lyrics in this song seem rather random for someone like Daryl, but it suits well considering that the emotions conveyed through the song are those resulting from frustration. "I chew the thorn for sticking it too long" may mean that Daryl may be looked down upon by some because he's been in a band for so long and isnt a rich rock star. "Sometimes I get pissed when my blow goes like a quickie in the snow" strikes me as a sarcastic remark regarding the whole "sex, drugs and rock'n roll" thing. Awesome song though. He really shows off his vocal capabilities. |

This song is one of Glassjaw's most beautiful ones. I like how non-metric the piano and vocals are. It seems to be expressing rejection in a relationship due to a fear of emoional commitment. Then again, I could be wrong. |

This is a good song. I think this album is Incubus' best. However, I'm not very fond of Brandon Boyd's lyrics. Never have been, but the guitar work is better than ever. I also have to commend new bassist Ben Kenney. Dirk Lance sucked. |

Though Daryl seems to write a lot about his realationships with the fair sex, this song is about his disease, which is Chrone's Disease. It's a genetic intestinal disorder; basically, you get ulcers in your intestines that rupture when they please. It's often been referred to as children shivering in the river. "You might lose the one you chose" is Daryl "talking to " his disease. He's saying that since Chrone's can be lethal (he could bleed to death if he hemmorages), it can lose him. I think that "the most ironic place to be" could be that he could have an attack while onstage, or maybe on the can. This song is one awesome song. |

After reading all the entries about this song, it's funny how it's heard as a "make love" song. It's about being apprehensive about sex, and that thedecision to have sex is a big one. It should be as big a deal as a world premier. Awesome song though; my favorite one thus far. |
