This song is absolutely amazing. Great lyrics. To me, this song has a deep meaning... my best friend/ex-bf (yes, its true, people do stay friends after they break up) left for the air force and i never really got a chance to tell him all the things i wanted to tell him. I am everyday wishing i had one more day with him because i would make the absolute most of it. He's coming home in 3 weeks though for 15 days, so i plan on spending every moment w/ him! Basically, dont wait to tell someone how much they mean to you because in reality, no one is promised another day. |

To me, this song has really a really special meaning. It prolly isnt what Nickel Creek was trying to portray but this is just what i get out of it: My best friend (and former boyfriend) left for his life long dream of being in the Air Force and i had a really hard time with it. Then I heard this song and i was in tears because it really shows everything i was feeling. I am so proud of him, and miss him so much. But he calls me every weekend, and he knows that he always has me back home when things get tough. It was hard to watch him go, but I know that this is his dream and he is loving every minute of it. and he knows that I am always with him every time he goes up in the air! Sooooo yea, thats what that song means to me!~ |
