I believe that it is NOT written chronologically because it's telling the story as she is running... I believe this song is about a man whos wife has left him because he is a jerk and is no longer the loving caring guy he once was. when everything erupts - the fighting starts my life has come unglued - his family is falling apart and the and the ties that bind have left me - his wife being the tie who was bound to him through marriage what am i to do - whats he gonna do? lol and the chorus explains how he doesnt recognize himself anymore. |
