| Mike Posner – I Don't Trust Myself Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I agree, except for the "met his match" part. I think this is just another girl, and he can't pull himself away, but knows that she is like all the rest. | |

| Bright Eyes – Amy in the White Coat Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
blue flame: it might mean more... but on a gas stovetop the flame is blue when you heat a kettle... blue fire. hot. again, it might be deeper, but honestly, i'm not so sure. |

| The Fray – Vienna Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Isaac said that Vienna was "a breakup song I wrote about a girl before we even started going out" I can completely understand this, the "there is really no way to reach me" is completely understandable, you feel like there is no way the girl will be able to understand you, because no one ever has, and she will probably no different - pessimistic, a bit. |

| Say Anything – I Am A Transylvanian Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
vampires - transylvania for those of you who didn't already make the connection i like the path into this heart part - maybe its saying hes broken many hearts, so watch out even though he wants to love her, but hes had so many that hes ruined... or maybe its the vampire analogy again... |

| Say Anything – Most Beautiful Plague Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| the whole sex thing at the end is interesting - i think what he sometimes does is put himself in places that Jews were in, in a way that he can relate to it - in alive with the glory of love, hes in the holocaust, but the story is about him and this girl and how they are gonna make love despite all of it - so maybe here is is making love with a girl in the passover story - kinda funny, eh? | |
| Say Anything – Most Beautiful Plague Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I think this song is about the Jewish holiday of passover the plagues - first there was a river filled with blood: "let the scarlet river flood" then there were toads: "Let it shower us with toads" also, there were plagues from the sky such as hail "let the purple sky explode. Also, on passover Jews have a huge meal to remind them of slavery, and in the meal there are four cups of wine that are supposed to be drank: "got me sippin at a gross amount of wine" also, since it commemorate being slaves, maybe hes thanking her for treating him like a human since slavery is so dehumanizing. just thoughts seen as Bemis is Jewish - great CD!!! just got the re-issue! |

| Thursday – A Hole In The World Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| THERE IS LOVE - this is for sure what he is saying!!!!! thanks nova, that really, in my eyes proves what the song means, or maybe NOW means to them, because perhaps they wrote it at a time when they felt the world was empty, but then they found something, and maybe realized THERE IS LOVE. | |
| Thursday – A Hole In The World Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| also, if you enjoy this song, you have to listen to the acoustic version on punk goes acoustic, it is amazing. | |
| Thursday – A Hole In The World Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I think this might be a love song: a song that is saying that the world is crashing down around us, and I am lost, but not when I'm with you. "I can't see without you" |
