so i think this song has the basic meaning that the first two explain. but with a slightly different twist. this person, let's say has gone thru the rehab or whatever purification process he/she has gone thru. and now he/she feels great, the burden is lifted from their back. but the singer is like, "sorry to burst your bubble bud...but how, exactly are ya gonna make it up to them." so not only is the singer interested in how the ammends are to be made, but the person who commited is almost in a boastful state after purification... just my take tho |

This song, according to what i interpret from it and the music video, is about spousal abuse... in a spousal abuse marriage, the one who abuses the other always says "it'll be different" when he/she is trying to get back together. But the point behind the lyrics is to say, you are better than that. the line "Love Betrayed" also explains that. Nothing has changed, wounds just grow deeper, with swollen eyes, from being beaten. advice: get yourself together enough to leave your spouse and live your life. and it's not your fault, it's not anything you did. sorry if that's kidna confusing...i just went with the flow of the lyrics and it's my first time really doin this breakdown of the song, lemme know what you think. |
