i know someone who goes to college in springfield and on some nights they have bands from out of town play at this place. so one day, she goes to pick this band up from the airport. she's listening to ben folds in her car, and this conversation ensues.. band - "so you like ben folds?" her - "yea, i love him." band - "you know that song 'army?'" her - "yea." band - "you know the band that reformed without him?" her- "yea." band - "we're that band." how awesome is that? i mean, it's cool that she experienced that. the fact that they reformed without ben folds.. well.. yea, not so cool. ..at least not for them. haha. |

i think this song is about a guy and a gal who broke up and it's for the best, and they know that, but there is still this part of both of them that wants things to be back to normal... im going through that right now. my gf and i just broke up, and it really is the best decision, we know that...but when we hang out...it's so obvious that both of us want eachother, we just know it cant work... ...damn that sucks... good song, though... i fucking love this band... it's so obvious that john was the principle song-writer in taking back sunday..cause when you listen to straylight, you can just tell..it's like..a more mature, laid-back, taking back sunday + piano... i love it. ...im really kinda dreading hearing tbs' new stuff this summer at warped, just cause i think it'll suck without john |
