First off, they are not a christian band. Secondly, Riley said on an interview, that the song was about thinking for yourself and looking deeper into things. "It's so comforting to know I'll never have to think again." He is giving in and accepting what he is told. "it looks deep enough from here, I’m diving this cliff has been well worn by ignorance" Something looks real enough but an element is over looked. "it looks deep enough from here, I’m diving they float face down they all look so content " People have already accepted it. but I think a song is about what you interpret to be. Also it has a meaning which the writer meant it to be interpreted as, but lots of time that can be very vague. |
