I talked to Rob at a concert in Athens, GA. He said that 'Tres' had to do with the inability to express artistic feelings. The 'sah fasa gan' and '2-7' thing have no meaning. They're just pretty sounding phrases if you think about it. In a way, this song was the inspiration for the ideas behind "Summer in Abaddon" because the whole record has to do with poetic and musical stagnation. It's a beautiful song and should have whatever meaning one attaches to it, regardless of what Rob or I think |
