I think the song is about his desire to be better, especially at the end when he says "Everything changes the colors we see / constant reminder of all that we should [be] / [...] / glory is waiting." And maybe there's a component of it that's about someone who encourages that desire in him, like when he says ""And I'll see this through / Everything you said, before." |
