The song does have a lot of religious aspects of it, but you could also just apply to a person with a tought life or going through bad times. Hes "due for a miracle" something that will take him out or something that will change his life. he studies this and that but nothing happens to come to him to change his life or find his way.

Just looking at the lyrics, and listening to the song at the same time, first impression says its about conformity. He doesnt want to change to the world, yet he feels hes being left behind in a sort of way. Not too sure though

This song is weird definately. I think its just a place where the singer goes to get away from everything, he "rides his carousel" and gets out of everything for that time. Hes free on his carousel. As for the worst Finger Eleven song, I dont think its that, its just a real weird song, everything about it is weird.

Finger Eleven – Panic Attack Lyrics

This song is tough to make some sense. I almost think that it is somehting of being brought out into the real world, say after college or something. You could relate this to many things though. Basically, the main idea I think is that panic is attacking him before something big, that he has trained/looked forward too and theres no way to hide, and he is thinking if he can become all he thought he might. The part I cannot relate is the needles into eyes. I'm not sure what is going on with this part of the song. Who knows!

I think this song is all about a girl who the singer liked a lot, and for some reason he never got her. And he would do anything he could to get her because at this point, hes probably incredibly lonely and realized how stupid he was. Maybe it was a high school crush, and he never did anything about it. Now at the reunion, she is still everything he ever needed and wanted, yet he cant have her, and these feelings are brought on strongly say because he does not have a girl, and hes at odds with his life and is lonely. Thats my whole take anyway.

I think this song is about people and their way of basically letting material things rule them. The absent elements would be non material things, and without these, its an emptiness. You could also say that this song is about people being blind to the worst things in life, and believing its all a cakewalk. They build their comfortable defense against the world, and the bad things within it, and the bad things are absent elements to them.

Finger Eleven – Complicated Questions Lyrics

This song I believe simply is about an ended relationship, where the singer still has feelings for his partner, and his partner wants to get back together. But he knows that the relationship is over, and it is for the better that it is over, so he wants to "tear out this love". The complicated questions would be the questions of rejoining and restarting the relationship, the simple answer being NO. Thats my whole take on it anyway.
