The "burst of Red and Green" can mean one of two things. Since it's about a car accident, the Red and Green can be the traffic lights. On the other hand it's "last christmas" and the red and green can mean the typical colours of Christmas. Especially when they're followed by the lines "brings the things that she'll love" Just my thoughts. |

Maybe I'm just looking at it too superficially, but couldn't one interpret it as a song about getting out and travelling the world? That's how I've always thought about it, anyway. I mean, okay, there's definitely some spiritual connotations and such, but the entire bridge where he mentions seeing all the different things always came across as a "Get up, out and see what the world has to offer." kinda message. So I guess that goes with the story about the guy at his computer. |

You know what's ironic? I DID used to hate ska, so, I jokingly typed "Ska sucks" into a search one day and came up with this. I listened and thought "Waaaaaaaait, this is SKA! And...it's good!" So, it's this song that got me into it. Great song, though. |
