It's definitely about a guy and a girl. The guy is pretty down in the dumps, "Tidal waves they rip right through me / Tears from eyes worn cold and sad / Pick me up now, I need you so bad" but he thinks this girl will sort of save him "I need you so bad." He isn't sure how she'll react if he kisses her, "I'll try to kiss you if you let me" and doesn't want to think that this will be the end of their relationship, whatever it is now, "(this can't be the end)" I am also thinking that maybe she is rejecting him with "I'll take you over if you let me." But she is driving him crazy, "The look in your eyes makes me crazy" and in the car it is awkward "Your vows of silence fall all over." There is also a possibility that she is rejecting him her too, "I feel the darkness break upon her" but I'm not sure where this ties in "(You did this)" |
