here is something to think about: a couple years ago, my husband was engaged to this other woman. although he thought the relationship was going well, God definitely didn't. my husband said "And in those moments of passion, He broke my legs to stop me. Point is, there is definitely the possibility of God wanting Matt to be with someone else, cheating or no cheating; that engagement had to end there. | yeah, i actually talked to Dan of This Providence at a concert in Appleton, WI, he's the singer and guitarist if you didn't know. well i asked him what this meant to him and he told me that it was about how he began to give his life to God. we're hesitant to do so at first cuz we're scared of what others might think but instead we shouldn't worry about that but press on forward. just keep singing no matter what. if you guys have ever heard him talk, he's got an australian accent, it's so awesome. haha | |

yeah, i agree with gleaver. it's about a new life with God. as a Christian, we face persecution, am i not right?? Christians are persecuted all the time, this is the life of a Christian. being a Christian doesn't mean "happy happy" stuff. it's hard being a Christian. as Carabba writes You wish the lines were drawn a little clearer The tides have turned This drought will burn And everything is falling out of place as Christians we wish/think things are easier but no, it's to be a hard life, it says so in the Bible too. we're confused alot of the times and hurt, but when we're put down God lifts us right back up. God gives us HOPE. he's saying that when we are reborn and humbled, we are glimmering and clear.
