| Alkaline Trio – Dethbed Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| For backups I hear first: (Over our eyes) and then (Over and out the door) but Dan is usually pretty hard to make out. | |

^^^ Yea, sucks it leaked, but I still plan on buying it. I don't feel bad at all about having it early and it's not like I'm the person who leaked it. GG nextmap. |

| Alkaline Trio – Smoke Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| From what I can decipher of the lyrics it sounds like it's about being on tour and being extremely anxious to get home to the people you love. | |
| Alkaline Trio – I Was A Prayer Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Great song, but what do the first lines of the chorus mean? They seem to be pretty irrelevant to the rest of the song. | |
| Alkaline Trio – The Poison Lyrics | 21 years ago |

What exactly is rooftoping? What I hear is "how could a rooftop view in london look just the same as one in brooklyn". Which would add to the "I can't see so good" line. Maybe I'm just an idiot. |

Best song on the new album for me, and probably deserving of the single. "Like a time bomb, a sudden death It's gonna find you when you least expect It's gonna leave you the emptiest feeling inside" It sounds like he's talking about love in general here, how it just sort of happens and then leaves you broken. The song seems to be about someone dying inside after his girl up and leaves. |

| Alkaline Trio – Warbrain Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Though the above may be accurate, the song is about the second cold war. '59 was the Bay of Pigs and all that jazz. It seems to be about a teen in '59 trying to live a normal life while the fact that he could be blown to bits at any time lingers in the back of his mind. | |
| Alkaline Trio – Sadie Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This song is about Sadie Glutz aka Susan Atkins of the Manson Family. | |

That first line in mine should say "summer after graduating HIGH SCHOOL". I'm an idiot. |

| Alkaline Trio – If We Never Go Inside Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
If We Never Go Inside is about Dan's summer after graduating college. It's about all the fun they had, but the inevitability of it all ending, and them having to move on. On the other hand they want to move forward, but can't bare to leave behind the only life they've known. Symbols: CALENDER PINNED TO SUMMERTIME: Symbolizing the few months they are free. TRAIN: To take them away to the land of adulthood. WONDERFUL AGE: 18 GRAVEYARD: Life. Walk, don't run through it. |
