The first verse explains this one right away. Everyone makes one mistake One more time for old times sake One more time before the feeling fades One that's born of memories This song is about feeling like shit and as a result getting back together with someone you can't stand. This person might not be "The One" but they can serve as some kind of perverse comfort even though its the last thing you want. Sadly, I can't relate. Peace. |

| Woo-hoo! First to post since the site came back up! Anywho, I dout that this song is about doing coke. In an interview Dave said that he hasn't so much as smoked a joint since he was 20 and even then he only did pot and acid and said even then it was too much for him and he'd just end up buggin' out. I agree that its about eating pussy, I mean its all there! Its masterfully done though. Its a song about going down but it sounds so badass! The riffs rock harder than most of the sh*t they play on the radio these days and Taylor Hawkins is indisputably one of the best drummers out there. Props to Chris Shifflet and Nate Mendal for holding the rest down, thy really don't get enough credit. Definitely the highlight of the song is Dave screaming "DONE, DONE ON TO THE NEXT ONE!" That will be etched in my mind for years. Oh well, I've rambled for long enough. Foo Fighters Rock! Peace! | |
