I love this song. It kinda reminds me of the Great Gatsby....about drifting from place to place searching for something unobtainable. Everyone can relate to this song and he puts it in such a beautiful way. "The days get longer and the nights smell green" I also like how the end of this song, jst kinda melts into "Float On". |

This song is definitely about suicide, as most of you have said. What I really like about Morrisey is his honesty, he doesnt try to hide his meaning in metaphors and flowery language. He just comes straight out and says what he means, however the lyrics are still intelligent. I didn't find out about this song from The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I'm definitely going to read it now :) |

This song reminds me of someone i know, who feels that he has to project this image of himself, to keep people from knowing who he really is. The "sad, sad zoo" line makes me think of feeling that you're always being watched and judged by people around you. |

| Stairway is a great song, but it's not Zeppelin's best, in my opinion. I think that Plant was definitely inspired by LOTR in this song, however there are many elements of LOTR in his other lyrics. To me this song is about materialism being seen as a way to better yourself and the directions you take in life and possibly the search for meaning in your life. | |
