lol, Heres the real meaning of this song, from exeters own mouth from an interview. Well, the Hittites, their faces are not white. The Hittites are actually the inhabitants of what modern day Turkey is. About 2500 years ago, one of the most famous battles took place in the Plains of Kadesh, between Ramses II and the Hittite leader of that time. I wrote the song a couple of years ago—In January it'll be two years. It kind of prophetically tells a little bit of the story of the unfolding of the whole apocalyptic saga between the East and West, Muslim and Christian. But I wasn't really thinking like that, but a lot of the lyrics can be put together like that. It's about New York. I mean, it's got the headquarters, it's about using Gramercy Park in New York as a metaphor... All of the big metaphysical figureheads of our time—Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons...—these people were all students of Eleanor Buvlotski. I'm actually reading that book right now, The Secret Doctrine. I'm interested in that fountainhead of truth that is what spawned all monotheistic religions and that kind of thing—As you look at all of these consistencies through all cultures that stumbled onto the truth and find that they determined it in different ways. You look at the continuities between Buddhism, the Kabala... So there's obviously these universal concepts that were strolled upon by all these different cultures at different times. there u have it guys. |

This Song, I think has got to be about Vampires, or being a vampire. So many things point to being a vampire or transending into a vampire. Heres a few reasons why i say this. "All I see is throat", Sucking Blood from the throat. "Have love or feel so Hollowed out with shame Hoping to see the day" Vampires find it hard to find love unless its with another vampire, and the reference to wanting to see the day, we all know vamps cant be out in the day time. Heres another interesting lyric, "Then in time you'll find Thirst becomes boring", Of how the thirst for blood becomes boring and old. This whole verse makes me think about being a vampire or becoming one, "Right before we die My soul leads to the wrong Changeling of the night Now that I bleed a song Purely based on fright Sad with my face so long I have this new sight", Now, right before you becomes a vampire you will die, and you become a souless thing, your soul leads to the wrong, a changling of the night, such as deadsy says, and he says he has this new sight, the sight of a vampire perhaps? But who knows, it could be about a blowjob, "Downward you'll soon drift" "All I see is throat" "Breathless blower", lmao. |

My god, i had never looked at these lyrics before. I had my thoughts on this song from the begining. But now this just confirms my speculation. This song has got to be about Cruella Devile from the disney movie 101 Dalmations. Heres why, the name of the song is Cruella. In the movie she was stealing the dalmation puppys to make a coat of their fur. "Tearing through the snow As she makes her darling coat". This particular lyric is what really flipped the switch "Horace and Jasper stole", Horace & Jasper were the names of Cruella Devile's Henchmen, whom she sent to steal the puppys. Heres another lryic that points to my views on the song, "Black and white in hair". Cruella Deviles Hair Is half white, and half black. Now, Why Deadsy would make a song about Cruella Deville i have no idea, but it sure looks like they are a fan of disney movies lol. |
