first of all, id like to start out by saying TJT single handedly gets all the ladies with this song. Secondly this song is also the most powerfull/emotional song i know of. The piano is perfect. If you have any musical taste at all, this song is pure catharsis. |

I duno guyz, obviously on a VERY VERY VERY surface level it is about the salem witch trials. Do you know any other thrice song that is this surface level? 20% is on the surface, but the rest is below. I dont think this song is any different. I think it is talking about the salem witch trials, but that the salem witch trials are an allusion so something else . . .
Remember when the Communists were taking over the county during vietnam, I forget the term used. But everyone was being accused of being a communist, So that one dude released the film of the salem witch trials. It was the exact same thing, he was just relating it to something done in the past. I beleave this is no different, I just cant put a finger on it . . . maybe im looking to deep and it is just a surface level song. But anyhow, i think it is FRIGIN RAD!!! when the drums come in, you can't tell me you don't feeling it!! |
