| Pink Floyd – Brain Damage Lyrics | 20 years ago |

This song is about tripping on acid. Acid can be taken through paper tabs. The paperboy he's taking about is his dealer. When he says the lunatic is on the grass, he's tripping out. When he realizes that he's tripping, he knows that the lunatic is in his head. "you rearrange me ' till I'm sane you lock the door and throw away the key there's someone in my head but it's not me" Obviously about acid. Acid can make you crazy like there is somebody in your head. When he's laughing in the song and says quietly "everything is so nice" it's obvious he's tripping on acid. |

| They did a great job with the song, though the Hendrix version is a bit better. Still a great job by Fruiscante on the guitar and Anthony on the vocals. The song itself is about broken dreams obviously. | |

| I used to hate this song but a few weeks ago, I was anticipating asking this girl out. The song came on my playlist about 2 weeks ago and it reminded me of the situation. So I started listening to a lot to pump me up and get ready to ask her because of lyrics like "I've been waiting a long time for this moment to come I'm destined for anything at all" and "I am so much closer than I have ever known". Unfortunately, she said no but this is a special song now that helped me ask out a girl for the first time in my life. | |

Someone here said that the city is a metaphor for drugs. If so, please explain this: The line "Lonely as I am, together we cry" and "She sees my good deeds and she kisses me windy" Other than those lines, it makes sense. |

| Incubus – Wish You Were Here Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| This song's awesome, and it's not hard to understand what it's about. Basically, they're HAPPY! And they wish someone could enjoy the happiness with them. | |
