wow pink floyd strikes again! haha the predominant message in this song seems to lie in the lyric [that cats something i cant explain]..hence the fact that its repeated. i think the cat refers to a man. maybe jennifer gentle is a woman that the writer was with...and she dumped him for this other cat? who knows..ITS PINK FLOYD!! |

has anyone else noticed the lack of interpretations on most of the pink floyd songs? i think most people are afraid to even try to figure out with these guys are saying because it is rather obscure. either way i really like this song. |

i agree that chris cant sing it as well as weezer because its not HIS song originally. but i love this song. its the kinda tune that you just get stuck in your head and sing over and over. i love it. |

they are NOT a christian band. they are an emo band composed of christians and if any of you are christians you know that god relates heavily to everything to us christians and that comes through in the music. and i wish everyone would get over chris carraba. he is an amazing artist and one of my absolute favorites but this is not his solo project...this is a band with multiple musicians. |

well since i first got into fsf by hearing dashboard i am completely in love with this song. it is completely remiscent of chris carraba's sentimental dashboard lyrics which i LOVE. oh and whoever said that they dont understand why more people dont listen to emo/punk...im so glad that they dont. i dont want this to become the next big trend where all the superficial preppy people can think there cool because they listen to our music. they would ruin it and put it on the radio and mtv (i say this even though dashboard is on tv and the radio)..i just hope we can keep emo the wonderful secret that it is |

this seems to me to be about how schools nowadays try to conform children into a certain mold to be a "model child", a preppy perfect person. They try and make you think and act a certain way...and thats not right. |
