I loooooooove this song!! Mostly because I love the English song to the same tune ("If That's What It Takes"). However, I read a translation of this song and it is nice too. Celine's voice casts a spell unlike that of anyone else. Magical. |

emochic...same with me! "higher ground" was awesome, but the fact that they played this song in its final episode makes it memorable. anyway, this is one of my favorite sheryl crow songs, and i think that goes without saying why. |

Wait wait wait...is it that when she thinks about him she feels like that or that she feels like that before she thinks about him? Hmmm... |

Haha...I remember when I listened to this song on repeat for days. The meaning is pretty straight-forward, so I am no going to go into that, but it still a pretty cool song. |

| The Corrs – When the Stars Go Blue (Ryan Adams cover) Lyrics

This is a Ryan Adams song and while I adore his version, Andrea and Bono bring such a new and mystical light to his lyrics. It's funny because everytime I hear this song on the radio with my mom and it comes to the part where everyone is cheering I yell, "They're dancing now! They're dancing!" My mom thinks I am crazy, but I love it!! |

Juvenile? Maybe. But what else is it? Beautiful. Of loving and wanting love. Everyone experiences this emotion and that is what I think keeps it from being "juvenile." It doesn't tailor itself to one specific age group. Lovely. |

Hmm...I have a similar opinion. I think she was so used to living her life the way it was that somebody came in and made her see its reality. "I was stained, by a role, in a day not my own" means, to me, that she was defined by the life she was living but that he helped her see that it was not hers, that she was living someone else's life. Does that make sense? Probably not. |

MyGhostTakesFlight...That is what I think too. Everytime I hear this song I think about my friend who was killed in a car accident. It makes one think. Why why why... |

Hehe...I agree with Eggos=yum on this one, but a bit differently. I think that she keeps her emotions bottled and then the night before she let some of that leak out. Still, he kept by her, but she thinks that he doesn't want her anymore. He hopes that she will change her mind and stay in his life, giving him both sides of her. I don't know. I think I got kind of lost in my train of thought. |

This song is what good songs are all about. I have been listening to it constantly for about a year and a half, loving it more and more. I think it is clear what it is about and that just makes it so much more personal. It's a shame nobody knows of this band or the song. |
