wow that was ALOT of comments. i didnt read all of the last few.. but yeah. i am home from skool on a tuesday afternoon and have nothing better to do except explain my every thought and opinion on avril, here it goes! k. Well.. the kind of clothes do not make you anything. And just cause she wears baggy pants and ties, that doesnt mean anything.. although some may think it makes her a "punk". Ahk. She is like britney spears, and all the other pop princesses in many ways, but she has her own special twist to her! if she is having fun and doing her own thing, let her do it.. do what makes you happy everyone. and yes although it may piss some of us off that people think "punk" is a fashion, i am afriad we cannot really control that.. all 'fashions' fade away anywho. And i do not consider NFG, And all those poppish bands punk bands either.. try the casualties. they are awesome. and have great musical talent.. and are themselves. and everyone shouldnt waste their time on worrying about whos a 'poser' and whos a 'punk'. you are yourself. Dont try to be anything else. Shit! Just live life and have fun, dont shit your pants over all this MTV madness. shit happens. life goes on. and i strongly agree with Fr0mAutumn2Ashes comments. preach it sista! heh. be yourself everyone. if you skate, you skate. if you listen to punk music, you listen to punk music. the end. wha la. it doesnt make who you are.. its just a part of you.. make sensE? k, im done.. i hope some of you can agree with me, and actually think i am making some sense. +M+ |

I love this song also. Dont we all. it is pure amazing-ness. i didnt know dexter did some of their vocals? interesting. Once i heard this song.. i couldnt stop listening to it.. its so nice.. and calming. *sigh* afi is awesome. I am not sure what i think this song is about.. but i dont think its about drugs.. I feel like its about being rejected or something.. "Lean against the night and laugh as I try to scale the walls. Ingnored futility fills the air. You're only there to watch me fall... " maybe hes trying to do something.. and accomplish something that is important to him. but everyone is just giving him shit or something.. and rejecting him. "Just sit and stare as I walk away." Maybe now hes accomplished it.. or hes had it with people's bullshit? Not too sure. But thats my opinion. Whatever this song is about, it is awesome. One of AFI better songs.. +M+ |

hmmm... i am not sure if dave did loose his wife indeed. But i think this song is about being depressed or something for a long period of time throughout your life.. and then you decide you dont want that anymore. And you want to try to be happy. but then you think of the past.. and wanna quit trying.. but then MAYBE you realize that this is how it is. and if you keep feeling sorry for yourself its not gonna do anything. hmm, i love this song, i think it has such a beautiful sound. And i was reading some of the comments before mine.. and i was confused. heh.. "omnipotence, nuturing malevolance" As some said before that omipotence could be god, but why would god be promoting evil and harm? I mean.. who knows! I dont beleive in any "god" really.. But yeah. i am irish. *celebrates* heh.. I just saw flogging molly last nite for the 2nd time.. and they were incredible. When this song played, everyone just went crazy. Everyone was singing and dancing and doing some jigs. Such an awesome show.. they were even better than when i last saw em. They did an awesome job on getting the crowd hyped up when they played selfish man also. Which was their first so.. So everyone was pretty much super excited anywhos |
