| The Antlers – No Widows Lyrics

I agree with you about the song being about loneliness and feeling like you're leaving nothing behind. I do however disagree with the idea that because there is no heaven or hell he has nothing left to live for. If the man is a soldier "stranded out alone all year" with no heaven or hell, the main word here is pointlessness. The pointlessness of war. But not of living. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan has in Europe been portraid not only as a pointless war, but also as a boring one, which I believe this song captures. Just my interpretation. |

| Robyn – With Every Heartbeat Lyrics

Robyn has said in an interview that the song was written about Kleerup and his relationship that was about to end, but that she later on realized that the song in some ways applied to her as well. Of cours that should not change peoples own interpretation. |

| Architecture in Helsinki – It'5! Lyrics

Perhaps it's about him being at a party with 4 people and wine, and at the party is a girl he likes. So he's hoping that he and her will become a couple.
"Could've sworn that wine and one and four made two, But It's 5!"
Don't know if that made any sense. Hard to explain in English. Or maby he just thinks he's seeing double from the wine. I don't know. An interesting line. Maybe it doesn't mean anything at all. |

| Nicolai Dunger – All I Know Lyrics

Jag tror han sjunger:
She call me home, that's all i know
ain't no sunshine until you call
She call me home, that's all i know
Time is changing but you do not
All these games, all these shows
must have an end
Men varför har han inget presens s på "call"? Och menar han call som i att ringa, eller kallar hon honom sitt hem? |

| Muse – Time Is Running Out Lyrics

This is what Matt said about the song: "This song is almost a sort of generality that you may use for whatever, a relationship for example. I’ve tried to write general songs that can be used in several situations. This song handles about the feeling of being monopolised by someone. TIRO makes a reference to the fact that we tried to break this enclosure, something like that. We have used an electric piano of the 70ies which U2 has used in the song New Years Day. We recorded this type of piano in an acoustic way, and afterwards we’ve put some effects on it. I wanted to communicate a feeling of protest, to go against the grain in some way. You can be consumed by your job, a relationship or the government, or be suffocated by the media. It can apply to different things.'' |

I think the song is called Avon because the song sounds a lot like a song called Nova, made by the desert sessions. That's avoN backwards. |

| Queens of the Stone Age – I Was A Teenage Hand Model Lyrics
| 23 years ago

interviewer: Where did "I Was a Teenage Hand Model" come from?
Josh: I moved to Seattle before the whole Screaming Trees thing and I just wanted to move somewhere where I didn't know anybody and where the whole music scene was just dead. Everyone I knew in San Francisco was on drugs, and everyone in San Diego and LA just weren't doing it. So I went to Seattle, because I still wanted to be on the West Coast. So I was in this bar, there's a lot of bitter people there, especially music types. Anyway, I'm in this bar and there's this guy saying the stupidest bitter drunk rant about how he was a model when he was young. He was just a toothless bum screaming about being a child actor, model and shit. |

| Incubus – Are You In? Lyrics

I saw Incubus on MTV a few days ago, and they said that the lyrics to this song can mean whatever you want them to be about. They came up with them when they were improvising and the singer asked the others in the band if they were in. "Are you in?" Something like that. |

| Avril Lavigne – Complicated Lyrics

I've read all the comments and I've thought about this. I don't know how it is in Canada, but here in Sweden it's very popular to be different. It's a trend. Here a lot of people wear the same clothes as Avril. If she really was herself and didn't care about others she would probably wear jeans and a white t-shirt. She tries to impress with her clothes. And for everybody who thinks she sings punk, she sings pop! But I like the song, and I will keep listening to her, because that's what matters. I don't know why I like it. Usually I listen to rock and punk music. The lyrics are ok, but a little too... simple. They has no deep, and she doesn't say anything that hasn't been said before. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for reading it. |
