The song is about former incubus bass player Dirk Lance. He left because the rest of the band (Brandon especially) was sick of his "rock star mentality". True, the song can be about anyone, but it was written about Dirk. |

Like most of you, this is my favorite postal service song. I love the way Ben and Jen show the different sides of a couple breaking up. The most amazing thing about this song to me is the fact that they both wrote it without having ever met each other! The two must have talent if they can show such chemistry without really knowing the person they are writing with. I wish i could write like that lol |

I can't believe nobody has commented on this song. anybody who knows Ours should know and love this song. It is my favorite by far. Ours songs are always dark and spooky, but his voice is so amazing you dont care what the song is about.
