I always got that it was about suicide, especially from the chorus. My interpretation: "I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad I got sunshine, in a bag" He's happy that he is now in the body bag. "I'm useless, but not for long The future is coming on." He believed he was useless on earth, but his future, wherever it may be, will be better for him. I could also explain what the verses mean to pertain to the suicide meaning, but it would take forever, basically what I think is that the verses are his conscience talking to him giving him the good and bad of his decision. Just my thoughts. |
