Ok, first thing's first... this song is probably my favorite Disturbed song. I love it because the first time I heard it, I thought it sounded distinctively different from Disturbed's other songs and you just gotta love the lyrics! Anyways... I'm not entirely sure what David's singing about in this song... but I DO think it's pretty obvious that he's singing about how a person can hide behind a false facade in an attempt to ignore and forget the pain he/she has felt in the past.... meh... sorry for pointing out the obvious, but that's all I can think of right now :P |

Ok, I think this song is about drugs too, but I'm not going to argue with the people who think this song is about the human race being a parasite to the Earth and all those other theories mentioned before. If there's one thing about SOAD's songs that I like, it's the ambiguity of their songs. I bet if you asked the members of SOAD about this song, each member probably has something different to say about it. A song can be about drugs, the human race being a parasite or whatever the hell you want it to be about. It's all just what you make it out to be in the end after all :P |

| Does it matter that this song is NOT a parody of the actual Queen song? I think Weird Al is great, and like asutbone said, he DOES come up with his own stuff too (which is equally as good). If you're going to complain about Weird Al creating a rip-off of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, why don't you take a listen to Robbie Williams version of some of Queen's songs? | Err... I'm agreeing with Genin as well on this one. It's (ALMOST) official that Adios was a song written for their fans when KMFDM decided to disband back in... uh... '99 or something I think? It's a VERY good song regardless of why it was written though and I've always thought Sascha DOES say 'Fuck you' in that song, but most sites with KMFDM lyrics on it have it down as 'thank you' O_O" Do I need my hearing checked? | |

| This song is from the soundtrack of the video game Soul Blade for the Playstation. Khan is a Japanese band, and although I haven't heard a lot of their stuff, they are actually very good :) Both songs in this database for Khan are from the Soul Blade soundtrack, but hopefully I might be able to get more of their song lyrics up sometime. | |

| This had nothing to do with the song, but after reading some of these comments and hearing the stuff people are saying about 'chop suey' being a) American made, it doesn't exist and b) Japanese in origin if it does exist, I just felt the need to point out two things. One, chop suey does exist and two, it's not Japanese. It's Chinese and the name 'Chop Suey' is actually derived from the actual Chinese name for that dish. Trust me, this is coming from a girl who works in a Chinese restaurant and has had to serve up more dishes of Chop Suey than she can remember :P Quite how this dish has anything to do with this excellent SoaD song is a mystery to me though. Maybe the title's just one of those that aren't supposed to make sense? | |

Ok, well, the German stuff in this song is roughly translated as follows: Wiederaufbau und vernichtung (To rebuild and to annihilate) Wirklichkeit und heldendichtung (Reality and heroism) Edle wahrheit und legende (Noble and lengendary) KMFDM zum bitteren ende (KMFDM closes towards a bitter end) And the chorus: Sturm & drang* Dir gehoren (You belong to) Sturm & drang Kunst erleben (To experience the art of) Sturm & drang Neu und fremd (New and strange) Sturm & drang Mein KMFDM (My KMFDM) (* Sturm & Drang - the world Sturm and the word Drang has a few translations and I'm not quite sure which ones Sascha is talking about. But the translations for Sturm are 'storm/assault/tempest/gale' and the translations for Drang are 'pressure/impulse'. All translations give me the same impression, but I'm not going to state which is and isn't the correct translation here :P ) By the way, I had to re-arrange some of the positioning of the words so that they'd make more sense. I'm not German, I never did German in high school or university, so the translations might be slightly off, but they should be mostly correct. |

I'm surprized no one had already posted the lyrics up, but I guess it doesn't matter since they're up now :) If anyone's wondering, I have the translations to the German chorus and verse to this song (I was VERY bored at the time of deciding to translate the song).
