Alright, this is PROBABLY going to be along the lines of a lot of the other posts up here, but I'll try to make it a little different. Basically, what I'm getting from this song is that this girl is in love with a guy (obviously the majority of y'all know this already). He had, as some of you said, been hurt in the past, so he decided to fly solo instead of getting into a relationship again. She sees that he wants to be alone, but she doesn't quite understand why he won't give someone else -- someone DIFFERENT -- a try. "So lonely inside So busy out there But all you wanted Was somebody who cares" That line in the song is basically saying how this guy is trying to busy himself with different things to try to blot out the lonliness he has inside himself. But then, there are some times when he's by himself, doing nothing, when the lonliness comes back and he thinks about how much he really wants to be loved again. Yeah. If that made sense, more power to you. :) It made sense to me because that's what I'm going through with a more-than-friend of mine. Have fun, y'all. |

Wow. Looks like no one will even see my comment. LoL This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. Y'all have said most everything there is to say about it, but I'm gonna say some more of the same stuff anyhow because I can. :P My guy friend and I both love this song. We're not dating (of course. -.-) but we have this weird...I dunno...bond thing whenever one of us hears this song. Okay, story time (skip over my comment now if you wanna. LoL) He had come online and I IMed him to say hi, and the moment that happened, Somewhere Out There started playing and we both nearly died. It was like a sign. I don't actually have this CD, but I listened to a few tracks over at my friend's house, and some of the stuff she does is pretty good. Too bad they only play her stuff on pop stations. :P |
