I have to admit that when I first saw the video air on BET, I thought that the video was tight but the song had to go. I guess it was just shocking to actually hear a song support abstinence and so bluntly at that. Ppl reject the unfamiliar and that's what I did. But now I have to admit that it had grown on me. Even though I can't call it my song because I don't have my innocence anymore, I think it is a good song for those who still have it. Stand up to the men! |

I love this song too! It just describes my boyfriend (and I use the term loosely lol) and how he just doesn't want to share me with anybody else.
As far as commenting on Ginuwine, I think with age comes wisdom and maturity. You can definitely tell that Ginuwine is maturing through his music. The recent love songs that he has released for the ladies are beautiful. Big ups to him! |

Well, ppl sure have fun putting their 2 cents in. I think it's time for me to join in the celebration, see how much damage I can do. There was a documentary on VH1 on "Sex and Hip Hop" and well Khia certainly fits into the category. She stated in an interview that they did for her that when she made this song, it was for "grown folk". BUT, she has 2 young kids of her own so she decided to make an edited version of the song. (Not that the original song could be played on the radio anyway without beeping out every other word.) Yet, I beg to differ with her reason for making the edited version. I mean if she wants her YOUNG children to listen to her talking about somebody licking her anything, then that's her parenting style and I use my motto "Whatever Works". I just don't agree with that, but that's my opinion righ?
I have a cousin who is 14 years old and her mother (my aunt) doesn't want her to even listen to the edited version for the simple fact that she is 14 years old! I agree that at the impressionable age she is at, and I see beginning to take a strong keen interest in boys, I don't want her listening to a song about what a boy can do to her. I know that she doesn't have to follow through with it, but still...it's my little cousin ya know?
These are just my opinions. I'm not necessarily asking anybody to agree with me. Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in. |

I love this song! Monica always seems to find ways to reinvent herself when she comes back from a long hiatus. And she done it yet again with once Michael Jackson hit "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)". I like the fact that she paid omage to Michael in the video, too. It was great. |
