this song is beautiful. i think it's about a girl who's hiding her true self from the world and she doesn't want it that way. she wants everyone to accept her for her and not what everyone wants her to be. this is just my interpretation of the song and it could be wrong, but nonetheless, excellent song. |

to me, this song is about basically what the lyrics say. it's about a break up that the guy didn't want to happen but it did anyway. now he's trying to find people to blame, but only to realize that they both share the fault. and now, he wants to have one last chance with her before it's gone forever. |

i apologize for my comment i made along time ago. it was pretty dumb. but oh well. to me, this song is about a relationship that reached it's high point but somehow got lost somewhere. he still has the same feelings for her but their love "couldn't last forever." i love the way this song intensifies as it reaches the end and slowly comes back down from the high point. lovely. |

it wasnt till yesterday until the meaning of this song finally hit me. to me, it's about a relationship that has ended with "friendship." one person says that they still want to be friends and still wants to talk to the other person. but the other person knows that it will just be out of common decency and not because they want to. hence the "i've been meaning to call you, i've just been so busy." |
